Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay are top-producers of a herb called yerba mate. Like rooibos, it is not actually 'tea', however, it is drunk very commonly in South America. A cousin of Darjeeling, Nepalese tea is floral, delicate and slightly fruity. The drinking of tea in Nepal is often combined with Buddhist ceremonies and family gatherings. Korea developed a unique and celebrated tea culture. It boasts four, specific varieties of tea: medicinal teas (usually herbal), fruit teas, green teas, and grain teas (made from grains like barley, dried and roasted).
